John Immerwahr

Dr. Immerwahr is the author or coauthor of a number of Public Agenda's national and regional studies, including a 1998 study on Americans' views on the importance of higher education; a 1997 study of how Californians view the state's higher education system; and a study on how South Carolinians view their public schools. He is also the author of a focus group report on Americans' attitudes toward children. In addition, with Public Agenda's President Daniel Yankelovich, Dr. Immerwahr has written several Public Agenda studies of public attitudes toward foreign policy.

Dr. Immerwahr is the Associate Vice President of Villanova University. Previously, he was Chair of the Philosophy Department, and has published widely in the field. He received his B.A. from Princeton University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
