Public Agenda has free widgets to put on your web site or blog (or send to a friend) to help citizens keep informed on the challenges facing our nation, discuss them with others, and tell our elected officials and other leaders how you feel about the issues and what you'd like them to do:

Inauguration Day Countdown clock
The Inauguration Day Countdown clock, from Public Agenda, automatically updates the number of days and hours remaining until the president-elect is sworn in on January 20th, 2009. This clock is a great way to remind yourself – and all who visit your web site – that we're entering a new era and the time is now to keep the focus on the issues.

The National Debt Clock
FACING UP TO THE
Nation's Finances
National Debt Clock
One of the issues in this election is the spiraling federal budget deficit, which is currently more than $8 trillion, with interest payments taking up an increasingly huge portion of the federal budget - leaving less and less room for other programs.

The National Debt Clock updates constantly to show the current amount owed by Uncle Sam and his taxpayers (that's you, me, and if nothing is done, our children and grandchildren). This widget is part of Facing Up to The Nation's Finances, a multi-year initiative in which Public Agenda is a partner, aimed at educating voters about the budget deficit and raising awareness about the ways it does and will affect their lives, while discussing possible solutions to the problem.
